Regional Workshop in Beirut on Climate Change for Arab Governments and NGOs

Arab Stakeholders must work together and play a positive role in International Climate Negotiations

Beirut: August 18, 2009 – Arab NGO Network for Development (ANND), IndyACT, Arab Organization for Administrative Assistance (ARADO), along with Arab Climate Alliance held a workshop for the Arab Governments’ Representatives and NGO members from across the region, in Beirut, Bristol Hotel. The Regional Meeting for Civil Society Organizations from the Arab region opened on the 18^th of August and will continue till the 19^th to update, inform and discuss the concerns from the Arab region on the current climate change negotiations process, which will culminate this year in Copenhagen in the form of a crucial global climate change agreement to prevent dangerous climate change.

This workshop is part of the organizations’ continuous work on the Climate Change crisis by building awareness on the political and scientific aspects of climate change and the urgency of the cause! This conference was attended by more than 30 NGO members from Lebanon and 12 other Arab States. The discussions were led by established experts in the fields of climate change science and policy from the region and abroad. The discussions focused on the climate change negotiations process and the current lack of proactive engagement by Arab countries in the current negotiations happening under the UN Convention on Climate Change for a new climate agreement. Representatives of all Arab governments to the negotiations under the UNFCCC were invited to participate in the meeting, while only delegates from Saudi Arabia and Syria attended and were involved in an open discussion with regional NGOs on how the Climate Change agenda could be made a priority for respective National Governments.

"So far most Arab Governments have failed to engage proactively at the forefront of these potentially game changing Climate Change Negotiations ", said Wael Hmaidan, Executive Director of IndyACT. “Sadly the ones that have been engaging, such as Saudi Arabia, are considered obstructionists rather than supporting progress within these talks.”

“Climate change is a reflection of the failure of the global economic, social, and development model, reflected in the economic and financial crisis as well. Climate change negotiations should take that into consideration and address the issue in the context of reforming the global system and strengthening the United Nations role, the participation of the developing countries in global policy making on an equitable basis, as well as civil society's participation in building more just, democratic, and rights-based sustainable social, economic, and developmental alternatives", said Ziad Abdul Samad, General Executive of ANND, Lebanon.

The Arab stakeholders must realize the urgency of the problem of Climate Change and the irreversibility of its impacts across the region. “It would be a severe disappointment for other developing countries to see their Arab colleagues dilute the possibility for a fair and comprehensive Climate Treaty that would pave the way, through adequate financing and technology transfer for promoting a new low carbon development paradigm,” said Shruti Shukla, Southern Capacity Programme Coordinator, CAN –International

“Arab countries represent a number of key interests within the climate negotiations but for the moment its only the Oil Interests that are being heard - a real conversation is needed on how can oil-producing countries work towards an economy with a significantly lower carbon footprint” said Katherine Watts, Climate Policy expert from the World Wildlife Fund –U.K.

IndyACT along with Arab NGO Network for Development (ANND), Arab Organization for Administrative Assistance (ARADO) and Arab Climate Alliance (ACA) call on all news agencies, bloggers, journalists, etc. and Arab civil society to start following the negotiations and the role of Arab governments in them, as well as to seriously commit to the cause and the critical urgency of the matter and help push for an ambitious, fair and binding climate change agreement!

عبدالإمام: «بلا هوية» الحالة التي اكتشفت جنتي فيها..

يكتبها هذا الأسبوع علي عبدالإمام:
من لم يذق جنة «بحرين أونلاين» فقد ذاق جهنمها حتماً، سوق افتراضية، لكنها الأكثر تعبيراً عن حقيقة سوق البحرين وحراكها اليومي الساخن. «علي عبدالإمام» صاحب هذه السوق، يفتح جنته الخاصة التي هي جنة الثورة الإيرانية بمآلاتها البحرينية في جيل السبعينات والثمانينات، فما الذي تحمله هذه الجنة؟

- جنة غير واضحة
غير واضحة تلك الجنة في صورها المتعددة تظهر لي بين فينة وأخرى كـ «فلاشات» سريعة، يستغرب الأهل أن أتذكر ما كان وأنا ابن ثلاث سنوات، نعم أتذكر عرس ابن عمتي، وإطلاق سراح ابن عمي وزوج أختي بتهمة الانتماء إلى حزب الدعوة، وعودة أخي من الدراسة في الرياض، أتذكر رسم منزلنا القديم، الحمام ذو الصبغ الأسود، السلّم غير المكتمل، الببغاء التي ماتت على الشجرة وعملت لها جنازة بكيت فيها يوم أكلها السنور الأحول، أتذكر العام 1983 كان الصبية قد بدؤوا الالتحاق بالمدرسة فيما أنا مازلت ضمن قوائم الانتظار لأنني مواليد شهر يناير/ كانون الثاني، يحضرني اللعب في «داعوس» منزلنا، أبناء وبنات، وأتذكر أيضاً أنني لم أسمع أهلي أبداً يتكلمون عن أخوالي وخالاتي، فقد كانت أمي إيرانية، وكنا في فترة الحرب العراقية الإيرانية، فترة كانت صور الخميني مقدسة للدرجة التي تخفيها عن العيون في مخابئ سرية، فجأة أبي يتحدث عن زيارة لإيران مع أمي لأقاربها، كانوا يقولون إنهم كانوا في كل عام يقضون الصيف هناك، ولكن بعد الثورة خاف الجميع من الجميع، ذهب أبي وأمي، عرفت أمي بموت والدها منذ بضع سنوات ولم يخبروها، عاد أبي والنية أن يصطحب الثلاثة الصغار وأختي الكبيرة، كان العام ,1987 ذهبنا، كانت السفرة الأولى لي خارج قريتي، ولأول مرة أرى حرماً لمعصوم، يتحدثون لغة غريبة لذيذة، ولكن لم أكن أفهمها، الجميل فيها، أننا كأطفال كنا نلعب من دون أن نفهم بعضنا، كانت لغة الطفولة المشتركة بين الأمم، ذهبنا إلى قم، وفجأة كان صوت انفجار قوي، كنا بداخل الحرم، غلّقوا الأبواب، سألت أبي ما كان ذلك الصوت، قال إنهم يغلقون الأبواب، لكني سمعتهم في اليوم التالي في طهران يقولون، قصفوا مصنعاً للأسلحة.
أتذكر أبي كان دائماً يستيقظ نصف الليل، الساعة الثانية والنصف صباحاً، يولع سيجارته، ويدير الراديو على إيران مباشرة ليسمع آخر أخبار الحرب وهو يجاهد الصافرة «الملعونة»، أتذكر مرة أخذنا لزيارة أصدقائه، ولما بدأ الحديث عن إيران قال لي ولأخي انتظرا بالخارج، ولكني وقفت خلف النافذة أستمع لدفاعه المستميت عن جنود الإمام وإيران الخمينية، أبي لم يدخل المدرسة، تعلم القراءة وحده في نادي جدحفص، لقد علّم نفسه بنفسه.


- جنة البواليع
تتميز المنطقة التي كنت أسكنها بأن بها محطة عبدالحسين بن جعفر للمحروقات (حوار حالياً)، وهي منطقة جديدة لم يمض عليها أكثر من ثلاثين سنة، ولأن البترول موجود في «فريجنا»، فقد تصارعت ولاية جدحفص وولاية الديه على أحقية تبعية المنطقة، ولأن الديه كانت للتو قد خرجت من مشكلة مقتل عبدالله المدني وكانت تسمى «الكوفة» فقد غلب الرأي على تبعيتنا لجدحفص.
في فترة الحوادث إذاً انقلبت الآية نتيجة طبيعة دور القريتين المختلف فيها، ولكن الكثير كان يسمينا «الفريج الجديد»، أما التسمية الغريبة والمعروفة على نطاق أهالي الديه وجدحفص فهي «فريج البواليع» لكون المجاري لم تكن قد حطت عندنا بعد، مازلت أشم تلك البقعة الخضراء من الماء على مدار العام والتي كانت أمام باب منزلنا، أمر عليها في لحظات خروجي ودخولي للمنزل، تعودت شم رائحة البواليع، في تلك الفترة تكون زيارات أخي المتقطعة من الرياض، وأصر وهو محب للعلوم الدينية على دراستي في مسجد اللوزي في جدحفص لأنهل علوم الشيخ يوسف البحراني ولم أكن فقهت الاختلافات في التقليد بعد، وقد أوصى جاسم الوافي، وهو صديق لأخي بأن يصطحبني يومياً، لكنه بعد سفر أخي لم يأت لاصطحابي إلا مرتين، وانقطع، ثم أتى قبل زيارة أخي الثانية بيوم واحد.
على فترات متقطعة أخذني ابن عمي للدراسة في مأتم الصفافير في المنامة ظهراً بعد عودتي من المدرسة، إلا أن ذلك لم يدم كثيراً، فبعد دخول المدرسة، أرسلتني أمي للمعلمة سلوى لأتعلم القرآن، وبقيت عندها ما يقارب سبعة أشهر لم أتخط البسملة، كان تعليمها صعباً بالنسبة إلى طفل في الابتدائية، بعد ذلك توقفت معلمة سلوى عن «التعلوم» وأرسلتني أمي إلى معلمة معصومة، ختمت سبعة أجزاء في أوقات قياسية، كانت دائماً ما تمدح قراءتي، كنت أنهي المدرسة وأركض إلى المعلم لأحجز الزاوية قبل أن يحجزها الآخرون.
وفي العام 1989 كان أخي قد عاد وعمل مدرساً وخطب وأخذ يستعد للزواج، كنت في الصف السادس، كنت نائماً، وأتت أختي لتوقظني وكعادتي رفضت، حتى قالت لي «قوم الإمام الخميني مات» هنا فزعت، ذهبت للصالة، كان أبي يبكي، وبجانبه ابني عمي وأخ آخر لي، وهما يحاولان جاهدين تحريك الراديو ليتجاوزوا «الصواية» المزعجة التي تحجب عنهم إذاعة القسم العربي من طهران، ويحاول أخي عبثاً تحريك «الروتيتر» لتظهر إيران في التلفاز علهم يرون شيئاً عنه، وفي الفترة نفسها ماتت معلمة معصومة، استقر رأي أخي على السفر للعراق لإتمام الزواج، حيث كانت قد فتحت للزيارة بعد الحرب، فالمجتمع لن يرحمه لو فعلها في البحرين، كما صادفت أربعينية الخميني عيد الأضحى، الكل كان يغير شيئاً، فغيرت عادة العيد.


- جنة الأنوري
بدأت علاقتي مع مسجد الأنوري في نهاية الثمانينات وبداية التسعينات، كنت أسمعهم يتحدثون عن دروس «السيد» ورحلات «السيد» فأحببت الذهاب لهذا «السيد»، كان الوضع غير آمن، أستغل فرصة شراء الخبز لأذهب للمسجد، حيث أهلي كانوا يرفضون خوفاً من اعتقالات سياسية، بدأت رحلات المساجد، وبدأت الدروس، وبدأ كتاب «الرسالة الصلاتية» يثير ضجته لتنتقل إلينا نحن الصغار فنما فيّ تحدي التقليد، فقلدت الشيخ يوسف لأن الأهل جميعهم كانوا كذلك، كان كتاب الرسالة الصلاتية يوزع مجاناً، كان السيد ذكياً، مرحاً، له أسلوب في جذب الجميع، تتلمذت على يديه فكانت بداياتي على يديه، مازلت أتذكر فترات الدراسة كيف العدد لا يتجاوز العشرة إلا نادراً، وفترة الرحلات نصل لستين، أتذكر في إحدى الرحلات قام عبدالله الدقاق (الشيخ عبدالله الدقاق حالياً) بتعليمنا تغسيل الميت، كنت أنا الميت.


- جنة الخمينية «الثوروية»
مع بداية التسعينات كنت قد بدأت أتبلور كشخصية سياسية، أتذكر غضب أبي بسبب وجود شريط عزاء للرادود حسين سهوان كانت به قصيدة «قال للمستضعفين» والتي كانت سياسية بدرجة كبيرة، كان الجو العام يحتم عليك أن تكون سياسياً ثوروياً، تبدأ بالاتصال بشباب المنامة، يتبلور عشق الرمز فيك، وتلبسه الخميني، يموت الكُلبايكاني، وأستيقظ على أول خلاف بين فاتحتين، إحداها تقام في مسجد مؤمن والأخرى في القصاب، تلك من دون رخصة وهذه برخصة، تلك حلال وهذه حرام، نخرج في مسيرة «لا إله إلا الله، الفقيه حبيب الله» تكون السماعة فيها خلفي مباشرة تهجم الشرطة، لا أرى أحداً إلا نفسي بين أكوام الشرطة المحاصرة للمنطقة، أحاول الهرب كما هرب الجميع، أسمعهم في أزقة المنامة يقولون المسيرة بالأمام، أذهب، أفاجأ بأن الشعار أصبح «ولائي ولائي لعلي خامنئي» وكنت أصرخ معهم، وصلنا مأتم القصاب، الشيخ أحمد العصفور يهدئ الجموع الغاضبة، بعد ذلك يتفرق الجميع، أعود للمنزل من بيت الحلال كما كنت قد جئت المنامة منه، «لِفْتْ»، يستدعيني أخي لينصحني بالابتعاد عن هذه الخطوط والالتفات للدراسة، بحيوية الشباب الثوري أعاند في نفسي ذلك، أستمر في حضور التجمعات السياسية والدينية، برنامج طلعات ليلة الجمعة مع شباب النبيه صالح والمدينة، دعاء كميل وعشاء سمبوسة، ومحاضرات دينية، البحث في كل جمعة عن مسجد مهجور ويكون دعاء كميل الروح التي تبعث فيه، الابتعاد عن القرية والانشغال بالوطن ككل، أبدأ في كتابة الشعر للمآتم.
تنطلق العريضة، أوقع، تتفجر الحوادث، أكون منشغلاً ومشتغلاً بها، يعاند الأهل، الضغط يكبر، يظهر تياران، هذا مدني، هذا جمري، الجمري الوحيد كنت في بيتنا، في كل ليلة يصبح مجلس بيت الوالد ساحة نقاشات سياسية بشأن ما حدث ويحدث، ويكون صوتي هو الصوت الجمري الوحيد - بحسب التصنيفات.
في العام 1995 تمت دعوتي للانضمام للهيئة، من أجل تنظيم أماكن تواجد النساء حين تخرج مواكب العزاء والتأكد من فصلهم عن الرجال، بقيت في الهيئة مدة سبع سنوات حتى العام ,2001 كان العمل متعباً، من المغرب حتى الصباح، أحاول تطبيق مبادئ الأمر بالمعروف والنهي عن المنكر.
في العام 1993 يكتشف أخي وجود كتاب بعنوان «الشيعة وخرافة عيد الغدير» ثم كتاب آخر يهاجم الشيعة، يغضب أخي، لم يلتفت إلى كتاب «ثم اهتديت» الذي كان بجنبهما، يقول لي لن أفهمها، وهو نفسه من أعطاني قبل ذلك كتاب «الله خالق الكون» وهو صعب جداً وفهمته، كان أخي مكتبتي الأولى التي أنهل فيها التدين، مع البداية العام 1995 يعطيني كتاب «لمحات اجتماعية من تاريخ العراق الحديث» للدكتور علي الوردي، كان أخي يريد أن أبتعد عن الخط الثوري عبر قراءة التاريخ، كنت حينها ابن 16 عاماً فقط، لكن الكتاب كان له الأثر الأكبر في صوغ طريقة تفكيري والسبب في تغيري، لكن ليس كما يريد أخي، وانغمست في كتبه كلها، اصطدمت مع الشيخ سليمان المدني؛ لأنه كان ضد علي الوردي في كتابته للتاريخ، في العام ,1997 اشتريت أحد كتب مطهري لرخص ثمنها من فرشة أمام مأتم الديه، فيمازحني علي الجزيري «بسك يا بوحسين من هالكتب» كانت بداية الانطلاق للأسئلة التي تتبعها أسئلة، لم تكن الكتب الدينية تروي ظمئي، فرحت أبحث عن الأجواء القديمة، بين الدواليب والبيوت القديمة، الجلوس مع كبار السن، كان لي مزار في قرية الديه تم هدمه حديثاً، كان حائطاً وسط الدواليب مكتوب عليه «اللهم انصر الإمام الخميني واحفظ جيوش المسلمين» كان هذا الشعار دائماً ما يأخذني لأجواء الثمانينات.
أتذكر في العام 1998 وأنا أتمشى أمام مأتم الترانجة، رأيت ورقة مقطوعة من صحيفة أخبار الخليج فيها صورة الإمام الخميني، التقطها، أحتفظ بها، ومازلت أحتفظ بها حتى الآن.
أذهب إلى سوريا وألتقي السيد فضل الله مع اثنين من أصدقائي، نضع المسجلة، نحاوره في وضع البحرين، المسجلة لم تكن تعمل ونحن لا نعلم، بالليل نذهب للسيد عبدالله الغريفي نتكلم، يرفض وضع التسجيل، في الأسبوع التالي نذهب للسيد فضل الله نريد أن نعيد التسجيل مرة أخرى، يرفض التسجيل، كنا رأيناهم يخرجون مع بعضهم بعد انتهاء لقائنا بالسيد عبدالله الغريفي.


- جنة الإنترنت
بعد الثانوية أراد الأهل أن أتوجه للخارج للدراسة من أجل إبعادي عن البحرين بسبب الحوادث، لكني حصلت على قبول في معهد البحرين، فانتظمت في الدراسة، للمرة الأولى تكون معي بالصف فتيات، فأظل منحرجاً منهن طوال الوقت، بنهاية 1996 وبداية 1997 يبتدأ مشوار الإنترنت، «الفريتل» الأداة الوحيدة للبحث عن الحديث رغم كلفة الإنترنت في ذلك الوقت، أنتقي اسمي مرة يكون

«تعبير عن هوية ضائعة، اكتشفت معنى الهوية، أنتظم في غرف المنتديات، بأسماء مستعارة بالأساس «بحراني» أحجزها كلها، في نسيج، في الساحة، في الجلسة، في كيوتل، اكتشف تعصبي للهوية أكثر، والأسماء المستعارة تعطيك الفرصة أن تشكل شخصيتك كما تريد بعيداً عن الواقع، تماماً كما في لعبة «second life» أدخل النقاشات السنية الشيعية بغية إقناع الآخر محملاً بالحجج الدامغة كافة، أكتشف أن لا حججي دامغة ولا حججهم أدمغ، أصل إلى أن الدين وراثة لا اقتناع، 1998 افتتحت منتدى تجريبياً في الليل، متواضعاً جداً، في اليوم التالي أصحو على 5 أعضاء قد سجلوا لا أعرفهم، يكبر المنتدى حتى يصل إلى مئة عضو ونشاط ملحوظ، يختفي المنتدى، المطالبات من الداخل والخارج بإعادته، يعود بعد أشهر، ويعود الجميع، ويختفي ويعود ويختفي ويعود، تتجدد الدماء ويبقى هو موجود، لم يمر ببالي أبداً أن أكون صاحب منتدى كبير يحسب له حساب، وأن يكون هذا المنتدى سبباً في ذلك التغير الأكبر في حياتي، أن تفهم الناس أعمق، أن تفهم ذاتك أكبر، أن تفهم المختلف عنك أوضح.



- الهوية الضائعة
عندما تشاهد صفحتي على «كتاب الوجه» (Facebook) ترى مكتوباً تحت اسمي «lost identity» وهو ما يعبر عن الحالة التي اكتشفت جنتي فيها، من أنا بعد رحلة لم تتجاوز ثلاثين عاماً، بلا هوية، أخاف أن أكشف عن حقيقة أفكاري فتصيبني لعنة «المتدينين» التي لن تقوى على فهمي، ولن تقوى على الاقتناع بأنني مقتنع بما أنا عليه، يحاربون الهويات الأخرى ليثبتوا لأنفسهم أن هويتهم هي الحق والصحيحة، ولكن لو واجهتهم بمناقص هوياتهم - كما تعتقدها - لا يستطيعون أن يفهموها، يوصلني الملتقى إلى العالمية، وأدعى لحضور مؤتمرات هنا وهناك، أجوب العالم، أتفتح على أفكار أخرى، أعجب بها، هنا يقولون تغرّب عن ثقافته الأصيلة، ولا يقولون اقتنع بأفكار أخرى وذنبه يحمله هو، ولكن مهلاً، ألم أكن يوماً ما مثلهم أحارب من يتغرب عن ثقافته، أشدد على تكرار كلمات بحرانية قديمة بغية تثبيتها، استدعاء تاريخ العائلة والأجداد بغية إحيائه، أصر على سؤال أبي دائماً عما كان يحدث قديماً، عن طريقة الحياة قديماً، أحفظ الأمثال البحرانية القديمة، ألست أنا من كتب قصيدة في العام 1998 كان مطلعها:
يا دار عاودني أليم وصالي
جاد القريح مبعثراً أوصالي
إحياء لتاريخ وتراث في البحرين عبر أبياتها، أحضر إلى مجلس يتداولون القصيدة يمدحونها، ينسبونها لشاعر عاش في الخمسينات نفي بعد الهيئة، أكون أنا الكاتب، وأسكت، فقد كانت فترة أمن الدولة، والآن هل يحق لي أنا أن أسأل

: «Who Am I؟».

This is what kind of how do they maide the loyality to this homeland, his majesty deserver a better homeland than the current, his majesty is the first, and any other things is next, the citizen is next, building the homeland is next, first he should get that homeland, with peace and love, then other things, but no one is talking how his majesty will build up this homeland, how you will bring the peace? and how you will bring the love, its about writing in news paper as much as its an act, given people their freedom, their right to share the decision, people need to feel peace in their homeland first so the other will get back his peace, but threatening people, through them in prisons, toturing them, bringing others and nationalized them, selling the homeland to others just for free, is these things going to bring the peace to the homeland,

this is not a way to build up loyality, this just what those in power wants to hear, but, reality is totally different, and he is in the power, he should choose, either building the homeland with peace and love, or importing people from out side so he can build up the homeland he wants, with forigners like this Ales Samaan who is originaly not from Bahrain, and she is giving us a lesson on how to be loyal and how the homeland should be

In Bahrain, Justice before judgment

In the yesterdays news paper, it was mentioned a fight happen between 20 Bahraini and 4 UAEs citizen, the UAE citizen back to thier hotel, Priminister visit them, asked for new car to them, and Bahraini 6 in Jail waiting for the Judgement.

this is how the justice is fast, we dont need court , we dont need story details, we need nothing except listening to regime story and believe it no matter what is behind it, the true from the faulse
today in the news paper, Bahraini told their story, they said their were sexual Harassment from those UAE citizens, they stopped them,

the qustion is why the priminister is bypassing the court and local citizen?

what a government that sell its Rule to other stats?

i got this feeling that no one will defend me if i've been in any such situation in any other place while my original place is not suporting me, even in my place

yesterday the superme leader khamenei spoke about the situation in Iran, and he got the final speech in Iran, he got the politic power and the Religious power, so he could just shut the states quite, no more protest or demonestrates, he just got the final speech, the last speech, no one inside iran can do any thing after his speech, wow, how come we still have such strong people and they can by one speech points his finger to where the things should it go, and it goes?

but my qustion is, is that the way we solve the issues? we have people demanding, people asking for what they think its their right, and we just shut them by these two powers? we don't set and talk, have some chat about the real issue, instead of blocking social networks web sites, blocking the blogs, SMS not working, Telephone is almost censored and mostely not working, BBC persian not working, other channels not working, Internet is too slow and very censored, forigens media not allow to work inside Iran, instead of having all of this, can't we just admit we have a problem and there is some thing wrong in this Iran so we need to find out whats people demands and what is people qustions, either we can answer them , obey then, or we can just talk with them, people wants some one to talk with them, i mean talk with them not talk to them, i mean some one get in to dialogue with them not giving order to them?

this kind of speech if its success now to shut things down in iran, it might not be applicable or acceptable for the next election

i hope that i will not be classified one of agents who works for USA or UK or worst Israel, but, this is the way i am thinking dear superme leader, and i like it this way, sorry i know you are waley elfaqeeh, but, i believe that welayat faqeeh is human thought not god verses and i don''t believe in it

Todays superme leader Khamenei speech, was clear about one point that i used to talk with my friends about it when we were talking about the situation in Iran as they were insist to use the power to crack down the protest and end it in the street while i was telling, they are 33 % of the voters so they have the right to protest and to loude their demands, today Khamenei telling directely all of the candidators loved iran and they tried to built up iran in different way, but they are building the same regime not different one

and i hope the paseej and pasdaran will know this from there leader that those protesters in the street are iranian, they love Iran and they are not peace of shit you need to get ride of it, they are IRANIAN
about changing the regime, khamenei said that using the street is not acceptable, and i can understand why he did said that, but i believe, people have the right to change their regime if they like to do, its all the people decision not the leaders

Iran election, from Bahraini perspective

At the begining let say that having this election in one of our neighbour is something we should care about it because we don't have that much freedom, or less than that also

i watch the news, blogs, twitter, facebook, all the citizen media type during the last week in addition to the tradition media like alaalm TV and wanna compare my experience and thought with what is going on in Iran

first when i was watching alaalm, i felt that i am watching Bahrain TV , all the opposition are linked to forignes , they are not loyal, no permession for the opposition protest but for Najad its published in TV as the background during the news programmes, i didn't see any different between this totalirsm regime and our, both are using the same tools to prove for themself that we have the majority and the others even if they are 33% have nothing, have no access to the regime media, have no right to protest, have no right to loud their voice, this is not freedom kingdom this totalirism regime

Iran blocked facebook, twitter, sms yahoo, blogs, all the ports that citizens media wants to talk throught as the tradition media is not accessible for them, and why is that? they don't have the right to talk? to show the rest of word thier is something different in this country? their is something wrong with this kindom? and why these systems afraid for other voice to be heard? i don't know

Najads speech when he was saying that you broke the forignes planes and those are BAD, he was talking about whom? about 13 milions vote to Mosavi? he was talking about 33% from the voices they are agents for USA and Israel? is this is a speech for the coming presedent? instead of offering sharing power with this 33 % he is deleting them from the formula? this is not human freedom? this is Najad view and not linked to any human perspective

The crazy again in power

With all respect to the reader who is supporting Najad, i mean no harm with this, but i used to call Ahmedi Najad the crazy, even when i was in Iran talking with my cousins while we are talking about his politic, i used to call him crazy so i mean no harm to all of you.

honestly i was supporting mir hussain mosavi because i feel Iran will need a presedent like Khatami, more freedom, more respect, freedom of choices to be made, not force to ? this is what i believe not in iran only but in every where in the world, but at the end, we are not iranian, we have to respect this crazy when he come to the power and we have to deal with him for the next four years

I was following the election by persian blogs, thanks god i know persian so it was easy for me , the strange things i discovered is, Najad failed in economic area, and its reflecting the poor people which is the majority in Iran, but the poor majority didn't talk about economy as its one of their criterias , these were talking that Najad is clean, we need to vote for clean people, cause god ask us to do so, wow, gods with you Crazy najad

The people of the world can live together in peace. we know that is god's vision. now, that must be our work
i have to say that i like the way that Obama is dealing with media and not depending on traditional media, he sent his broadcast video message to Iran by Youtube, and now he is using most of the web 2.0 tools to broadcast his spech, facebook, youtube live, twitter, blog, ,, etc

its our time to work for all of the people to live together, but the big workload is not on our heads, its on the decesion makers who sould believe in this world

Obama your speach shouldn't be addressed to us, it should be addressed to those leaders in arabic regimes who your state is supporting them to do what they are doing to us

Emerging Technologies and Web 2.0

Thanks for IREX invitation to particepate in Online Writers and Mainstream Media in the Gulf conference, i was asked to give a presentation about using the Web2.0 application in the media, attached is my presentation , i have to admit that during my research i learned alot as this is the first time for me to give a technical presentation and i was afraid that i am not going to success in it but thanks god the response i got was more than my expectation

but at the end, in each conference i am attending i still feel that there is a big distance for us to get our dreams, still the borders and situations are very diffecult
